About

Our Mission

Community Days is the go-to place to find Microsoft community events: one listing of what is happening, anywhere in the world.

Behind every event are volunteer organizers who give countless hours to run free and low-cost technical training. Listing here helps attendees find their events, speakers find places to speak, and sponsors find events worth backing.

We also provide information and tools in support of the Microsoft Global Community Initiative and the organizers it serves.

Any Microsoft-focused event can list on Community Days.

Our Story

Community Days was formed in November 2021 by community members following the closure of SPSEvents.org, the longtime home of SharePoint Saturday event listings. Built and maintained by volunteers, it provides a central place to discover and host Microsoft community events worldwide.

Its launch was announced by Jeff Teper at Microsoft Ignite in October 2022. Today, Community Days is fully supported and sponsored by Microsoft, recognized by the Microsoft Global Community Initiative and showcased regularly on the Microsoft 365 & Power Platform community call.

The site could not have been made possible without the help of volunteers. Below is our group of individuals that have offered their time to be part of the design, creation and testing of various parts of this website. If you are interested in helping out, please reach out to us. There is no contribution too small.
